Since the beginning of 2022, I have been part of the Visual Narrativ research group at the Lucerne School of Art & Design.
In Tobias Matter`s projects,
we deal with the question of how augmented reality can be used and further developed in participatory urban planning processes.

As part of my bachelor thesis I worked with Fabio Bissinger on the live performance "catch-22". Besides the planning, I performed, produced visuals, coordinated and managed the technology.
For the OpenHouse2020 at Hyperwerk, a runnable VR course is created. The participants playfully explore different
worlds and feel their way with their feet. Small physical elements such as wooden beams, foam mats or thin wooden
boards will increase the immersion for the visitors immensely.

This prototype creates a collaborative interaction in virtual meetings.
People can play with the Soundmachine on a Miro-Board and can hear the sound
and communicate in a Zoom call.

With the Tagging Tentacle people were able to draw lines together or play with a ball.
The tentacle has four servos. Each is controlled by one person in a Zoom call by moving their right or left arm.
Playing in the real world through a digital space.

In this game, people in a Zoom call can play with a virtual ball through the digital space. The borders
of their webcam image get dissolved. The virtual ball must be guided to a target, which in this case shall bring a good
internet connection to the meeting.

For 48h Neukölln,
I translated the physical exhibition into digital space together with Rosy DX.
The result was an interactive experience in gather.town that could be visited as an extension parallel to the real exhibition.

During the first lockdown in 2020, many museums could be visited virtually. I don't want to reproduce reality but create an experience
that would otherwise not be possible. The concept: experience paintings playfully and immerse yourself directly in them.
In this way, details and painting techniques can be discovered for oneself in an interactive way.

VDK is a design software that allows you to create sheet metal constructions in virtual reality.
Your idea can be brought to life by snapping pieces together to create your designs. VDK simultaneously generates the flat
projection of your design, which serves as the stencil for laser cutting. A local company can then laser cut your design, and send
it back to you in its flat state, ready to be folded together.
Environment Design of VDK for the
Openhouse exhibition in January 2019.

Under the name [ h a l f p e e l e d ] animations are created during three to five days each. It is about improvising and learning from each other. We don't strive for perfection, but rather look for quick cooperation and the result.
